Paris Digital Park is a leading data centre complex specially designed to provide companies with space to house their digital infrastructure, interconnect their networks, and expand their IT solutions. By delivering a robust roof structure, Foldam made an essential contribution to this forward-looking project.
Working alongside our client’s skilled engineers, we developed the complete engineering solution in a short timeframe. Foldam then took charge of production during a period when the pandemic and a shortage of steel profiles posed major challenges. Nevertheless, we managed to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
Our teams carried out the digital layout and drilling of the anchor points on-site in France, ensuring that the assembly of the structure proceeded smoothly. The end result was a steel structure weighing over 2,400 tonnes, which included the installation of more than 20,000 m² of grating platforms.
Through this project, Foldam is contributing to the creation of a digital hub that will play an important role in Europe’s digital infrastructure in the coming years. It’s a fine example of what can be achieved when craftsmanship, collaboration and precision come together.
